I haven't been back to Medina, Ohio in around 7 years now and I sometimes still dream about being there and waking up in the room of my old house where I started McCafferty. I have a lot of pain about that place and don't know if I will ever go back, but it shaped who I was a lot. Unmedicated and insane, the streets there always meant a lot to me as a kid, but I had a lot of pain and anger around my family and just who I was and wanted out so bad and I can say it was the best choice I've ever made even though I love my mom and dad. Sometimes, I want to go back for nostalgia and inspiration. I started McCafferty when I was 16 and now I am 32 and old and it just all went by so quickly. I'm so glad I made the choice to upload my music because it changed my life and listening back to those old songs brings back so many memories and feelings. If you're an artist, upload everything because you never know what can catch on. Hope everyone is doing well.
