August 7, 2023 (New Album)

The Remake album, Mccafferty Forever, is out now on all streaming platforms! It's 8 songs that I had been wanting to re-release with some modern polish and I am really happy with how they have turned out! I hope everyone enjoys them and I am incredibly thankful to anyone who takes the time to check them out. I have fallen behind on my blog ever since I started using Instagram because it's an easier way to interact with people and I apologize for that.

Mentally, I have been up and down a lot these last few months with regret and shame over my past mixed with my Bipolar so I haven't felt like writing anything. I am feeling good about my life and McCafferty currently though, so I want to chase that feeling. These songs are important to me and some of them are over 10 years old at this point which is absolutely crazy. It feels like just yesterday that I wrote them. I have changed a lot over the last decade, specifically the last three and a half years, and I am at a point where I am proud of the person I am and what I have accomplished with my music, but I wish I was always the person I am now because I hate who I used to be, but life is about growing and making meaningful change to ourselves to be better, so I am grateful for that.

I'm going to let this album sit for a month until September 7th, when I will be releasing Swingset, the first single from my upcoming 2024 album. I am about two months behind on my emails so I apologize for the late responses, but I will get to them, even if it takes forever. I want to thank my electric guitarist, producer, drummer, and partner for making these songs incredible and without them I am nothing. I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoys the songs.

Nick
